In fact, it’s one of the best selling e-books on ANY subject in the history of the Internet… And there’s a reason why…

Many of us who have been there and tried that are wary of quick fix solution to fat loss. We know that “magic bullets” offered by the likes of body wraps, fat burning pills, diet shakes, or “fat-burning” creams and gels simply do not work.

On the other hand, if you are tired of miracle lose weight fairy tales and is ready and willing to put in the hard work and discipline and make the lifestyle changes necessary to get a fat free body, then you will find Burn The Fat to be one of the best investments you ever made in your life.

It’s because this guidebook teaches you step-by-step on how to burn off BODY FAT – not muscle or water weight – and doing it naturally, without supplements, pills or “magic potions,” simply by using and following proven, scientifically-accurate and common-sense advice.

What makes it so much different than other weight loss publications on the market?

Well first of all, it’s not a “weight loss” guidebook, it’s a “fat” loss guidebook. This may seem like semantics or wordplay at first, but once you’ve read just the first three chapters, there will be no doubt in your mind that pursuing “weight loss” is not only the wrong goal, it may be the reason that you’ve failed to reach and maintain your ideal body weight. Burn The Fat shows you exactly why it’s fat you must lose, not “weight” (which includes muscle, water and other lean tissue) and then goes on to show you exactly how to do it.

Secondly, what makes Burn The Fat different is the amount of attention that is paid to each and every element of successful, healthy, permanent fat loss. Burn The Fat not only thoroughly dispels the lies, myths and fallacies surrounding a very confusing subject, it is simply the most detailed book about fat loss ever written. By reading Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle, (or better yet, “studying it”), you will learn more about fat loss than you could from an entire semester of nutrition classes or from an entire shelf of mainstream diet publications at your local bookstore.

In a nutshell, this information-packed 340 page guidebook tells you how to lose weight and gain muscle (if you want) permanently by 4 core principles:

1. Through guided cardio and aerobics exercises
2. Through guided weight training exercises
3. Through proper diet and nutrition based on natural food
4. Through mind and motivational techniques to see you through

Who will benefit most from Burn the Fat?
Well, anyone and everyone who needs to lose weight will benefit from Burn The Fat. Men, women, bodybuilders, fitness enthusiasts, and especially motivated individuals and avid readers will love this book. Although it was written by a bodybuilder, this book is certainly NOT just for bodybuilders.

You will not find “30 lbs. in 30 days” miracles at work here. It’s all about intelligent eating choices, planning, hard work and lifestyle change.

About the author
Tom Venuto, a respected fat loss expert, natural bodybuilder, and personal trainer, has not just pumped out yet another “diet program” into an already over-saturated market. Tom’s Burn the Fat can be more accurately described as a “Fat Loss Bible.” It is quite simply one of the most complete, detailed, and precise guides to fat loss you will ever read. Get your copy at the author’s website here!

Have you looked at the bulge over your stomach and felt despair? Do you feel lethargic all the time? Do you go breathless after climbing a couple of staircases?

How many times have you promised yourself that you will go to the gym, take a swim or jog around your neighbourhood but had always gave yourself an excuse and wriggle out of it?

We all know that we need to exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle and that’s why gyms are in vogue. However, how many of us will actually drive or take a bus to the gym? Even when we are at the gym, do we know what is the correct exercise we need to do to achieve our desired fitness? Can we maintain that discipline to exercise regularly?

Sure, we can always hire a fitness instructor or a personal trainer to train and to push us. Do you know how much an hour with a personal trainer cost? US$75 to US$120. That’s right. Two hours per session, three times a week will easily set you back US$600! How many of us have that kind of money even if we have that kind of desire to keep fit?

I was recently recommended to this program – Bodybot software. A personal fitness trainer by the name of Ryan Lee had designed a virtual program that ensure a ‘personal fitness trainer’ is always at your beck and call.

In a nutshell, this is how it works:

Log onto a website – Choose a desired fitness goal

Select from the recommended exercise routines

Set the music

Wala… a ‘fitness trainer’ appears and lead you through your exercise routines!

How much easier can it be? You can choose to exercise whenever you want in the comfort of your own home with your desired fitness goal – be it to lose fat, gain upper body strength, promote joint flexibility or better cardio-respiratory strength!

A list of fitness routines according to your desired fitness goal will be recommended to you and you can choose or design these routines differently each time so that you are never bored by the same routines. In addition, a ‘real life fitness trainer’ exercise along with you so that you can ensure that you are doing the right kind of exercise!

If you had always wanted to keep fit but lack the technique or the discipline, here’s your chance to try out this unique training program.

I understand that this software is causing a sensation with home fitness enthusiasts in the USA and I have downloaded a free trial myself. Why don’t you try it out yourself too – after all, there is a 8 week trial period for you to decide if this program is suitable for you. If you have always been hesitating about your fitness goals – hesitate no more – try out this software now! Click to learn more about the software.

You may have noticed the increasing popularity of Pilates in your gyms and in popular media. In fact, one of the reasons behind Pilates popularity of late is that many Hollywood celebrities have embraced the exercise and hey…what’s good for the celebrities is good for us as well…isn’t it

Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates around 1914. Joseph was living a very active life as both a boxer and a performer when the first World War began. During the war, Joseph was placed into an internment camp due to his German heritage. In the camp, he began to show his fellow bunkmates some techniques of exercise that he’d been working on for the past twenty years. His program incorporated both techniques that he had created, as well as drawing upon fitness regimens that were used in ancient Rome and Greece. It was believed that he also drew inspiration from wrestling, Yoga and Chinese Martial Arts.

As the exercise routine gained followers, Joseph worked hard to train new instructors to ensure that people were getting the proper benefits from the exercise.

Pilates is a system of over 500 different types of exercises that draw upon both the body and the mind. The exercises are designed to help make the body more flexible and strong and hence, many of the exercises are focused on building ‘the core’ of the body.

Pilates practitioners refer to ‘the core’ when they are speaking about the muscles of the abdomen, the back, and the pelvic region. Pilates incorporates the use of non-high-intensity routines so that one may feel even more energetic after performing the exercises. Practitioners tend to report a gain in strength as well as added flexibility and a better sense of balance.

Pilates can allow the individual to gain better posture and increased circulation of the joints through its many exercises. A participant can choose to practise Pilates exclusively or add on Pilates to their other fitness routine.

In addition to the positive effects Pilates has on the body, the mind can benefit as well. You’ll find yourself to be more aware of your body and Pilate can also prove to be an efficient method of stress relief.

The average pilates participant should practise between two and four times per week to achieve optimum result. If you’re interested in Pilates, you can do it either on your own through the use of books or videos to guide your practice or you can participate in group sessions in which you learn to enjoy pilates amongst others.

As a new gym goer, I was recently introduced to the concept of personal trainers (also known as personal fitness trainers) in a gym. I have read about personal trainers and how all the rich and famous must have one but this was really my first contact with personal trainers up close and personal.

Because I was new to my club, I was offered free services of a personal trainer for 3 gym sessions. It is then up to me whether I need their service further; for a professional fee to be paid.

I had seen personal trainers in other gyms previously. To me, many of them look like muscle beef cakes and seem to be fond of walking from one corner of the gym to another, strutting their muscles along the way. Others seem to be posing in front of mirrors all the time. Yet others seems to be hovering around female gym goers only. They don’t seem to be doing a lot of personal training…

Well… maybe it’s just because I wasn’t familiar with personal trainers or perhaps the good ones had not caught my attention. Anyway, I had a personal trainer attached to me for 3 gym sessions and this let me had a good understanding of the role of a personal trainer and how he or she can add value to a new gym goer.

Firstly, believe it or not, not all trainers are muscle beefcakes. In fact, you can’t tell at all that the personal trainer I had is a personal trainer despite her being a national hockey player.

Secondly, a good personal trainer job is not to just show you how the various exercise machines work. In fact, that is his last task. A good trainer will firstly need to sit down and assess a client’s physical and medical condition and find out his/her client’s fitness goal. He will also need to assess your physical posture, your dietary habits and the time you can afford for training.

Only then can he work out a short and long term training for you. Even then, a good trainer will not let you start on exercise machines straight away especially if you had never been a regular gym goer. He should start you on various stretching and strengthening exercises, so that your various weak muscles and/or the core muscles needed for further physical work can be strengthened. This will also correct posture problems you may have, prevent future muscle injuries and build up core essential muscles.

Your trainer will need to take a few sessions just to build up these strength. These sessions may involve a lot of stretching and posturing exercises using various basic fitness tools such as elastic bands, dumbbells, exercise balls etc. You are unlikely to be familiar with most of these building up movements and this is where a trainer can guide, motivate and even exercise along with you.

A good trainer will want to get your basic diet, posture, core muscles correct before he would even want to start you on the various exercise machines. Like what my trainer said, if you can’t get the basics correct, then progressing on to the exercise machines will not be as good or as effective as what it should be.

My personal verdict about personal trainers? They are certainly worth the money (between S$70-120 an hr), if you have a serious fitness goal plan or want to see double-quick results or are unable to motivate yourself to exercise.

Fabulous view when I exercise

Let me tell you more about the new club that I joined a month ago. It’s a gym. It’s a spa. It’s a studio. It’s a cafe. It’s a cozy hang out corner.

Well, I don’t really know how to categorise it. First and foremost, it’s a gym club but it’s really more than that. Let me explain.

What caught my eye about this club in the first place was it’s location. It is located in a shopping mall near the sea in the southern part of Singapore. Hence, the entire club has a fabulous view of the sea – whether you are jogging, doing Yoga, getting a massage or having a drink.

Secondly, the club was being marketed and ran like a lifestyle club more than a gym club. Yes, there are state-of-the art exercise machines but at the same time, equal or more emphasis was laid on a full range of popular exercise programs, the good and healthy food at the cafe, the nimble fingers of the masseurs at the spa, the soft, fluffy cushions at the lounge, the large screen movies on Sundays and the concierge services at the counter . Overall, you feel like going to a social club that happens to have a large gym rather than going to a common gym.

State of the art exercise machines

I also like the fact that the exercise studio runs a gamut of programs ranging from Yoga to Pilates to Boxercise to Aerobics to Latin Jam. I particularly like it that there was also a cozy spa managed by two sweet Filipino masseurs that were ready to massage my tight muscles right after a good gym workout. No change of gears needed. No getting in and out of cars or buildings.

I normally just grab a quick drink after working out in a gym and then look for real food elsewhere – Gyms are never known to serve ‘real food’. However, in this club, I can tuck into good real food right at the cafe – wraps, sandwiches, pastas, meat dishes – prepared the delicious and healthy way, all with extra doses of vegetable. I hear that the chef was from a 5-star hotel and prepares each dish as if he was going for a round of culinary competition. Check out his killer tiramisu!

What I really like best about the club is that it has a small membership in the low hundreds rather than the thousands in a mass-market gym. The small cozy environment means that there is a ever ready smile from the staff, always clean floor in the changing room and no one to fight over your favorite exercise machine.

Exercise studio with a view

Life is already hectic and busy in Singapore as it is. I simply hate to go to a gym where the gym owner tend to squeeze as many members as they can into the gym – turning it into a yet another noisy, sweaty busy gym.

I think this club will be able to give me my exercise need without the hustle and bustle of a mass-market gym. Why not join me too? Check out the next article where i reveal the identity of the club!
